Interview #2 - Caitlin King

What would you say is your greatest strength? Tough one out of the gate! I would say my strength is confidence.. I march to the beat of my own drum and am not easily influenced by other's opinions/taste/style.
What are some of your favorite pieces of art? My favorite art time period is French Impressionism, Favorite Artist- Degas. Favorite piece by Degas - Miss La La at the Cirque Fernando or The Dance Class
What are you passionate about? Helping people, seeing people use their God-given gifts, the Church (on a world-scale) being the biggest source of help and comfort to the world's issues.
If you were to write a novel, what would your write about? Probably a girl who owned a cupcake bakery.. It would be a Scratch & Sniff
What is the name of your favorite eye shadow? Twinks by MAC
What is your favorite book in the Bible & why? I love Romans, because it is so liberating. And then Esther, because the central theme is about one girl who risked her life to save her people. Best verse: Esther 4:14 "For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance shall arise from somewhere else... And who knows but that you were born for such a time as this and for this very occasion?"
If you could send a letter back to yourself in middle school, what would you tell yourself? Dear Skinny Awkward Self, Don't worry, those horrible glasses and frizzy hair won't last forever!
What was the last book you read? "Spoken from the Heart" by former First Lady Laura Bush
Every time I see you, you are always put together, where do you find your fashion inspiration? I dig through catalogues and blogs- finding looks I like. Then I go through my closet and look for similar combinations.
What are some of your favorite online stores? I love Top Shop, Nordstrom, and I love wandering around Etsy.
Describe your perfect day. Spent with my husband- eating pastries and drinking lattes while exploring Paris or London! Stopping in at museums, palaces, and theaters.
What are you wanting for Christmas this year? Burberry Flats, an Ipad or a Sheepdog
Who was your favorite celebrity when you were a teenager? Sheesh-in my early teens it was JTT? Gag! later on it was whoever was on my favorite shows.
What was the last movie that you saw in theaters? Inception
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Traveling, with a few kiddies, and hopefully doing great things for God.
What songs are currently on your most popular play list? Anything by Broken Bells, Amy Winehouse, Mat Kearney, and Adele
What is your favorite thing to bake? Anything & Everything! Ok but mostly cupcakes.
Describe what the word "adventure" is to you. Doing something crazy and fun with the ones you love.
