Well the weather went from sunny and 70 to cloudy and 30 this weekend. Let's just say I was a little disappointed to wake up and find that it didn't snow - we were expecting 2-3 inches. Enough about the weather - I'm about to head up to help with a special needs Easter egg hunt! I'm over the face painting booth & I'm so excited to get up there and get started. See you all later! When I get back I'll post pics :)

Hi everyone! I'm starting a new writing schedule! I'm going to be posting 3-4 times per week so make sure to check back for some awesome posts and I'm even going to start doing some giveaways!

Last week I was in California for a business summit - it was amazing! I was able to meet so many new people and get to know them. I can't even begin to tell you all of the amazing things I learned while I was gone. I have pages and pages of notes! While I was there I got to meet up with an old high school friend, Amory. We haven't seen each other in 5 years but we picked up right where we left off. We went to Newport beach and then went out with some of her friends to dinner and a movie. Everyone was so great and welcoming - I didn't end up getting back to the hotel until 2:30am! That was 4:45am my time and I was flying home the next day. The next few days were a blur..

I completely understand why so many people live in California. It's gorgeous! The last time I was there I was 9 but I don't really remember any of it. Well I say all of this because I came back so refreshed and feeling better than ever (after the jet lag & time change had wore off)!

I'm working on some new works of art right now so make sure you check out Beloved.Cherokee (my Etsy shop)! I am also open to do custom artwork as long as it's not too crazy! I hope everyone is having a great week!

New York, We love you.

I know it has been quite a while since I have posted anything and I apologize for my absence but my return couldn't come at a better time. Tonight was a night that will spoken about for at least a decade. For the last 6 years we have fallen in love with a brutal yet loving cast of the CW hit Gossip Girl. Where the only thing higher than the skyline is the hemline of Serena Van Der Woodsen's wardrobe. While she has been the "It Girl" that we loved to hate, then loved again we couldn't help but swoon at the fact that tonight she finally chose her knight in shining armor. Brooklyn officially has a royal family, with Little J taking the place of Prince Harry.

Chuck and Blaire finally made it official and the crowning jewel is the handsome little Henry. I can say that I had my affair with Dan and Blaire but at the end of the day Waldorf and Bass were destined to be Mr & Mrs. Seeing flashbacks to her fairytale wedding with Louis made me want a princess wedding worthy of a Waldorf. Now just a mere hour and a half after the series finale I can't imagine the ceremony being anymore Chuck and Blaire. With their family and friends by there side, a quick I do and ride in the back of a police car, we were all wondering if Chuck would go down for the murder of the truly evil Bart Bass. Who would have thought that Jack would have been the lesser of two evils and in the last few moments seated next to Georgina leading you to believe that the Sparks had finally gone out and only to be extinguished by the handsome Bass.

Lily and Rufus will always be in my heart, I'm truly saddened that the vintage rock star and the modern Grace Kelly didn't reunite there marriage. After making it though their love child (who never reappeared) and the on and off relationship between Dan and Serena I was hoping for the best. Although I'm still recovering from the fact that Lily was back with William and Rufus appeared to be married to a blah brunette from the Lower West Side.

I was glad to see Ivy had came out with the story, books seem to be the thing that expose the Upper East Side at it's best. Staring Olivia Burk and Lola it was great to see a couple more familiar faces. I can say that I hope the writers of Gossip Girl really do write Inside, Inside Out and Ivy League. I'm sure that every fan of the show including myself would run out to get our hands on a copy of the sure to be New York Time's best sellers.

With some of the most amazing parties behind us we can move forward knowing that we have all grown up together over that past 6 years with Manhattan's elite. Until next time,

You know you love me

XOXO

So it has been a long 5 months since I have posted anything and I have had more views in the last couple of months than I can believe. I want to tell you that I have been busy and while this is true, it's just an excuse. I was looking forward to summer. Getting a tan and being outside, I think I went tanning 4 or 5 times. Minor compared to last summer where I spent about and hour or two a day beside the pool. I guess when you have a real job summer vacation is nonexistent. I will say that I had some great trips. I got to go home in May (to Colorado) for my cousin's high school graduation. In July I went to Seattle for a week and we drove up to Vancouver for 4 days. It was such an amazing trip, being back in Seattle and being able to go to Canada was so fun. Now that I'm back I've been getting everything ready for school in January. I finally have a plan and a goal set in front of me so I feel very motivated.
