AHH! I LOVE THIS RING & NAIL POLISH

Your life is a sacred journey. And it is about change, growth, discovery, movement, transformation, continuously expanding your vision of what is possible, stretching your soul, learning to see clearly and deeply, listening to your intuition, taking courageous challenges at every step along the way. You are on the path… exactly where you are meant to be right now… And from here, you can only go forward, shaping your life story into a magnificent tale of triumph, of healing of courage, of beauty, of wisdom, of power, of dignity, and of love. - Caroline Adams

Interview #15 Katie Pippin
via email - December 13

What is the name of your favorite nail polish? I LOVE the new Burlesque line from OPI. Sparkly, glittery, and girly! Just perfect.
What is the last book you read? Omg. I LOVE to read. "I find television to be very educating.  Every time somebody turns on the set, I go in the other room & read a book." ~Groucho Marx
....I really only read Non-Fiction though. I buy a new book like every week and normally cant buy just one at a time... I start new ones before finishing old ones, and rarely read them front to back. Actually, I just pick up whatever book I feel like reading that day. Joyce Meyer is my fave. I aspire to be like her... and one day write more books than her.
What are you passionate about? Knowing God. Loving God. Helping other people know God. The local church. Communicating. You could say I like to talk...but I equally like listening.
Describe the word "adventure" in your own words. Spontaneous. Exciting. Surprising. Fulfilling. Fun. Living for God is the truest form of adventure. Think about it. You wake up every day and the God of the universe directs your steps into a life exceedingly abundantly above and beyond your highest expectations.... As you listen to His voice and are obedient to His leading you're really just participating in the great plan He has for you.
Some call it life. I call it an adventure.
What is something not very many people know about you? Hmmm. Tough one. I'm not too mysterious. I skipped kindergarten...I don't like to eat meat outside. (although I think most people know that)!
Who are some of your favorite musicians right now? Love Brooke Fraser. I also love oldies. Like 60's and 70's music. It just make me happy.
If you could have access to one celebrities closet, whose closet would you pick? Reese Witherspoon. She's not like a style icon or anything. I just always think she's super cute and classy.
Where are some of your favorite places to shop? Forever21- it suits my fancy because it's cheap enough to buy new stuff all the time! I like to shop.
What would the name of your alter ego be? Kate. I always wished people called me that.... But you can't really give yourself a nickname. That's gay.
What is your favorite book in the bible & why? Psalms. They're such passionate expressions and communication from David. I love that he was "a man after God's own heart". I want to be known as that kind of person.
If you had to live abroad for a year, where would you choose to live? Venice!! I would boat everywhere....Ireland would be my last option.
Describe your perfect day. 76 degrees. June. 4 or 5 of my closest girlfriends. Going wherever the wind takes us that day... With no agenda...and limitless options. Oh, and oldies on our radio....

Interview #14 Mariah Fanj
via email - December 17

What is your signature scent? Versace Crystal Noir
In what country would you like to live? Oh man! I love love LOVE to travel, but to LIVE- I would have to go with so this is tough to narrow down... I really would like to live in Italy or on the French Riviera
Who is your style icon? I honestly don't have one... I appreciate versatility. I will say I like Jessica Szohr, Kate Beckensdale, and of course Jackie O
If you were to write  a letter & send it back to yourself in 5th grade, what would you tell yourself? Hold nothing back-don't be afraid to excel at the things you love and are good at, invest in the girls that surround your life- you can learn a lot from the people you least expect, and all guys at this stage of life are lame so don't bother with them.
What is your favorite book of the Bible & why? Isaiah. It is to me one of the most intimate books of the Bible, because it so clearly and vividly portrays God's thoughts toward us and His incredible faithfulness.
What is your signature drink at starbucks? I'm a Starbucks "Junkie" so it very much depends on my mood at the particular time, but recently I have been drinking a lot of Caramel Brulee's... (with an extra shot of course)
What are your top 5 favorite movies? I'm sure I will remember others later and wish I would have written them instead, but off the top of my head: Shawshank Redemption, The Notebook, White Christmas, Snatch, Amelie
Describe the word "adventure" in your own words. Living life in a big way: risking much, fearlessly taking on a challenge, shaming the "impossible", experiencing the unusual, witnessing the unseen, and leaving an eternal and indelible mark on the lives of the people around me.
What do you usually find yourself doing in your free time? Free time? I wouldn't begin to know what that looks like- haha  Eh- I am probably taking a bath and loving life.
Name everything that you wanted to be "when you grew up". I wanted to be: a Singer, on Broadway, a Public Speaker, a PTA Mom, a Lawyer, a Teacher, a Food Critic
