Do you have any hidden Talents? umm... I'm flexible? But no, I don't really have any hidden talents.
What is your best feature? I have no idea. Ask my boyfriend. :)
What is the last book you read? A Fairly Honourable Defeat by Iris Murdoch. Hm. I don't really recommend it.
What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? Vanilla. I'm boring.
What is your signature drink at Starbucks? An iced 2 pump tall toffee nut latte.
What are some of your favorite places to shop? City- Dallas. Specifically- Northpark. Store-
Anthropologie.

What are you passionate about? Theoretically- I am passionate about the church stepping up and being the answer to society's problems. People should be able to look to the church instead of the government for help. Of course, I can only say I am theoretically passionate about this, because I have done little to actually contribute to this goal. Practically- Affirmation. I think everyone needs it. I am lucky enough to be apart of a family that constantly affirms each other, but not everyone is. So affirm and encourage your friends! Everyone needs to be affirmed.

If you were going to set a world record, what would the record be for? How many hugs you get in a day. :) I am not really exceptional enough at anything to set a world record in it... but I do love hugs!
What does the word "adventure" mean to you? S
omething out of the ordinary, fun, and exciting! and typically makes a good story later.

Interview #5 - Brit Schaeuble
via email - November 2nd

Do you have any hidden talents? I don't know if I'd call them hidden talents...more like little known facts...but I can touch my tongue to my nose, I play the flute and piccolo, and I can D-A-N-C-E!
You are walking down the sidewalk and you notice a penny, do you pick it up? You better believe it!  Find 100 of those things and you've got yourself a whole DOLLAR!
In what country would you like to live? That's a good question...I've never really actually thought about that...I'm not against living outside the United States but I guess I've never really envisioned myself living in a specific other country...hmmmm...Italy maybe...China...the possibilities are endless!
What is your present state of mind? Most defiantly "peaceful". I looked up the word "peace" today and really liked the definition I found...it said: "freedom of the mind from annoyance, distractions, anxiety, obsession, untroubled, and content."
If you could send a letter back to yourself in the 5th grade what would you tell yourself? Wowzers...what wouldn't I tell myself! Dear Britni...when you're late for the bus in the morning don't run through the HUGE "puddle" in the alley behind your house because it's actually a large sheet of ice that's started to unthaw and you will wipe out and everyone on the bus will be watching and have to wait ever so patiently wait while you go home to change...
What would the name of your alter ego be? Last name: Ever First name: Greatest...
From as far back as you can remember, name everything that you have ever wanted to be. "When I grow up I wanna be famous, I wanna be a star, I wanna be in movies..."
The first thing I ever told people that I wanted to be a was a "doctor that catches babies" then I found out what that actually involved...so then I moved on to being a "mommy"...then it was a teacher...then it was an author/illustrated...actress...artist...until I eventually came back to teacher. Which I now am. :)
If you could take a year off & write a novel, what you your write about? I would probably write a fun and magical book for children in which all the characters would have rather interesting names, abnormal abilities, and quirky/awkward everyday occurances ...one that's so good that I would win the Newberry Medal.
What do you love to indulge in? A good book...yum! One of my favorite things to do is start reading a book in the evening with every intention of only reading a few chapters but somehow end up staying up into the wee hours of the morning to finish it or reading until I fall asleep and wake up the next morning cuddling with the book. Lemony Snicket said this  "If you are a student you should always get a good nights sleep unless you have come to the good part of your book, and then you should stay up all night and let your schoolwork fall by the wayside, a phrase which means 'flunk'" and I totally agree!
You can spend a day with anyone from the past, who would you choose & why?
Corrie Ten Boom.  I love history and WWII/Holocaust have always been interesting to me...I really enjoyed reading her autobiography "The Hiding Place"...I would enjoy talking to her about all she and her family went through/experienced and how she clung to her faith and trust in God throughout it all.
What was the last book you read? 10 Fat Turkeys by Tony Johnston...my preschoolers loved it! :) But I personally just finished reading The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman
What musicians are your favorite's these days? Oh  goodness...this is a toughie because music makes my world go 'round! Favorites as of late have been Joshua Radin, Brooke Fraser, Sleeping At Last, and Mumford & Sons. As an extra little treat here is my "Top 10 Favorite Songs Of The Moment" Playlist (In no particular order) 1.) "You Can Close Your Eyes" - Brooke Fraser ft. William Fitzsimmons
2.) "When You Find Me" - Joshua Radin ft. Maria Taylor
3.) "Reasons To Love You" - Meiko
4.) "Kite Song" - Rosie Thomas
5.) "Awake My Soul" - Mumford & Sons
6.) "Never Going Back Again" - Fleetwood Mac
7.) "Your Song" - Kate Walsh
8.) "Parachute" - Ingrid Michaelson
9.) "Next To Me" - Sleeping At Last
10.) "Big White Gate" - Grace Potter and the Nocternals
What always seems to fill up your free time? What free time???? When I do get a moment or two to do as I please I usually go for a run, have soak in the tub while reading a good book, or do some sort of cooking/cleaning/crafty domestic like something
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? That's a good question! I will answer it like this...Proverbs 19:21 in the message says this "humans keep brainstorming options and plans, but the Lords purpose always prevails"...I have ideas, dreams, goals, plans, and things that I would like to do/see happen but ultimately it's up to God...I know that my steps are ordered by Him and that He is working in me to will and act in order to fulfill His good purpose. I am right where I need to be right now...planted in the right church, right job, right friends, etc...so as long as I keep seeking after Him and helping to advance the kingdom everything else will fall into place...because the Bible also says that He makes all things work together for my good...so 5 years from now...who knows...your guess is as good as mine!
Would you rather spend a weekend in the mountains or on the beach? Beach...books...and getting brown.
What does the word "adventure" mean to you? Adventure for me is going to work everyday...hahaha! Reading a good book is always an adventure...far off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, a prince in disguise! To me adventure can be just about anything...from reading a good book to fun times with friends, or traveling to trying something new!
What TV show is your guilty pleasure? Not gunna deny it...I do enjoy watching both Sonny With A Chance and Jonas L.A. Oh, and then there's Gossip Girl...two words...Chuck Bass.
Who is your style icon? Umm...I really like Zooey Deschanel's style...and all the clothes Lea Michele (Rachel) and Jayma Mays (Emma) wear on Glee...my favorite places to shop are Target, Gap, Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, and thrift/vintage stores.
